Since we started this church, it has been our pledge to always remember that we exist “FOR THOSE NOT YET HERE.”
In the gospels, Jesus told a parable about the “lost” sheep. The condensed version of the story is that a shepherd had 100 sheep, lost one, and was left with 99. He could have been alright with that, but Jesus said that a “good” shepherd would leave the 99 and go after the 1.
This story has become our mantra. Jesus has done some amazing stuff in our short history, but it is not good enough! We believe that as His church we are called to go after the one. We exist for those who feel far from Christ. Everything we do is about reaching people with the good news of God’s grace, hope, and forgiveness!
